SOPHOS HOTELS SA has extended its consulting and hotel management activities to Italy, Milano where a Ramada Plaza is under development. SOPHOS HOTELS offers support service during pre and post opening.

The RAMADA PODGORICA has just opened its doors, and is the first hotel that SOPHOS HOTELS SA has the pleasure to manage in Montenegro.

Following the expansion of its activities, SOPHOS HOTELS SA has hired Mr Blaise Angehrn as Vice-President of Operations. Blaise will be in charge of the supervision and controlling of hotels under management. His great experience of the hotel industry makes him an great asset for the general management.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Tanju Ozalpay as new General Manager of the Ramada Podgorica as from March 3 2014. We are pleased to welcome him in the team and wish him full success in his new position.

SOPHOS HOTELS SA welcomes Odile Gardiol as Operations Assistant. Odile gained a diploma from the école suisse de tourisme (Swiss Tourism College), and is pursuing her studies at the same time with a view to gaining an MBA in services management.

Sophos Hotels took part in the trade show for hotel business professionals organised by Wyndham.

From 1 November, Sophos Hotels will be welcoming Maud Luong-Van-My as Consultant and Operations Assistant. Maud gained a diploma from the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne hospitality management school, and has worked at the Sofitel in Saigon and with Thomas Cook in Frankfurt.

Kranjska Gora, le 18 Avril 2013 – The companies Hit Alpinea and Sophos Hotels SA signed a hotel management contract yesterday. The contract gives Hit Alpinea the opportunity to take another step towards resolving its financial situation. Moreover, as a foreign partner, Hit Alpinea will help Sophos Hotels SA to acquire new clients, which will have a positive impact on the development of the Kranjska Gora resort and on recognition of Slovenian tourism.

Two hotels of the Hit Alpinea complex have recently been converted into Ramada hotels. As of now they both bear the brand of the Wyndham group (formerly Larix and Prisank).

Lausanne, Switzerland, 19 April 2013 - Sophos Hotels SA is pursuing its expansion in Central Europe and is delighted to announce the signing and development of its first contract in Slovenia. This agreement includes 6 Hit Alpinea d.d. properties, representing 640 rooms, 3 spas, a great number of F&B facilities, and facilities for meeting, seminars and conference centres. The beginning of the collaboration is planned for June 2013.
