New employee

From 1 November, Sophos Hotels will be welcoming Maud Luong-Van-My as Consultant and Operations Assistant. Maud gained a diploma from the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne hospitality management school, and has worked at the Sofitel in Saigon and with Thomas Cook in Frankfurt.

Hit Alpinea with a new partner for new clients

Kranjska Gora, le 18 Avril 2013 – The companies Hit Alpinea and Sophos Hotels SA signed a hotel management contract yesterday. The contract gives Hit Alpinea the opportunity to take another step towards resolving its financial situation. Moreover, as a foreign partner, Hit Alpinea will help Sophos Hotels SA to acquire new clients, which will have a positive impact on the development of the Kranjska Gora resort and on recognition of Slovenian tourism.

Two hotels of the Hit Alpinea complex have recently been converted into Ramada hotels. As of now they both bear the brand of the Wyndham group (formerly Larix and Prisank).

First portfolio development in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia

Lausanne, Switzerland, 19 April 2013 - Sophos Hotels SA is pursuing its expansion in Central Europe and is delighted to announce the signing and development of its first contract in Slovenia. This agreement includes 6 Hit Alpinea d.d. properties, representing 640 rooms, 3 spas, a great number of F&B facilities, and facilities for meeting, seminars and conference centres. The beginning of the collaboration is planned for June 2013.
