Graduated from the State Engineering School of Vaud (EINEV), in Yverdon, Switzerland, in Information Systems / Information Technologies (IS / IT), Jean-Marc previously worked for a large company international food industry for over 30 years. There he accumulated knowledge and in-depth expertise in various positions involved in the development, implementation and management of IS/IT products and services. He has worked in multidisciplinary and culturally diverse teams, and collaborated with several renowned IS/IT companies including Tech Mahindra, Atos, IBM, HP, Gramont and Itecor. Jean-Marc has joined the Sophos Hotels team as IS/IT Director.

Louis graduated from the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) with a Bachelor's degree in International Hospitality Management, where he gained skills in financial management, marketing, and hotel operations. 
In 2016, he began his career in the hotel industry, working for brands such as Club Med, THF, and The Hoxton across Europe, strengthening his expertise in customer service and daily management.
Louis then transitioned to hotel analysis. At Cushman & Wakefield in Prague, he specialized in hotel valuation and investment. Later, as a Development Analyst at YAYS Group in Amsterdam, he conducted feasibility studies and evaluated investment opportunities for hotel projects across Europe.
In 2024, Louis joined Sophos Hotels as a Hospitality Analyst & Asset Manager. In this role, he leverages his expertise to optimize the performance of the hotel asset portfolio and support its strategic development.
 

Ugur Can studied tourism and hotel management at Bilkent University and completed various degrees in hospitality. He then worked in different Hilton brand hotels, mainly in Turkey, as Front Desk Supervisor, Front Office Manager, and finally as General Manager. He joined Sophos Hotels as Senior Operations Director for Eastern Europe.

Sandra is an accomplished expert in Sales & Marketing within the hospitality and tourism destination sectors. With a degree in Law and a Master’s in Management Sciences (Université Savoie Mont Blanc, International Management Center Austria), she has been leading Sales & Marketing departments—including Events, Communication, and PR—for prestigious establishments across Europe. Fluent in German and various Germanic dialects, Sandra has successfully collaborated with leading industry players such as Leading Hotels of the World, Swiss Deluxe Hotels, Great Hotels of the World, Best of the Alps, Lech-Zürs am Arlberg, and the Jungfrau region. B2B and international trade shows are her playground: she skilfully builds and nurtures personal relationships with travel agents, suppliers, corporate clients, executives, VIPs and journalists.
Armed with a diverse international background, Sandra brings a deep market understanding, an extensive network and a clear strategic vision to her areas of expertise.

Jennifer is a graduate of EHL Hospitality Business School. During her training, she worked at the Hôtel Aulac in Lausanne in the Houskeeping, Front Office and F&B departments. She also worked in several Lausanne restaurants where she took care of the service and the bar. She joined Sophos Hotels in 2022 as Operations Assistant and Junior Consultant.

Graduated of the École Hôtelière de Paris and holder of a Licence 3 in Tourism Management from the Université de Savoie and HES-SO, Philippe has accumulated over 40 years' experience in the hotel and tourism industries.
With 9 years in the restaurant business, 9 years in the hotel business and 13 years in hotel IT, he has held management positions for over 10 years. He has led the opening of top-of-the-range establishments and managed operational transitions.
Drawing on his experience in a start-up specialising in training and support for company directors, he believes that ‘the art of success lies in knowing how to surround yourself with the best people’. For him, people are at the heart of everything, particularly in the service industry.
At Sophos Hotels, he adheres to a philosophy centred on support and training, aimed at developing the skills of staff at all levels. He is convinced that people must be in harmony with their environment, and that corporate social responsibility (CSR) is intrinsically linked to this approach.

Nicolas holds 2 hotel Masters degrees, the first in International Tourism & Hospitality Management from the Luxury Hotelschool Paris (ESH), and the second in International Hospitality & Luxury Brands which he obtained at the Ecole du Management Hôtelier de Luxe International (CMH) in Paris. He then worked within the Marriott group for more than 4 years. Firstly at the Renaissance Paris Vendôme 5* in the Finance, Housekeeping and Front Office departments. Then, he specialized as Front Office Manager and finally Operations Manager at the Courtyard by Marriott Paris St Denis 4*. Nicolas joined Sophos Hotels in 2022 as Operations Manager.

Florence has a Bachelor of Management in Tourism from the Haute Ecole de Gestion et Tourisme in Switzerland. Before her studies, she worked in a travel agency and in the events industry. She joined the Sophos Hotels team in 2016 and takes care of marketing, social media and administration.

Melanie is a graduate of EHL Hospitality Business School, holds a Diploma of Hospitality, and a CFC in Hospitality Specialist.
She has worked in the hospitality profession since 2012. Mélanie first held various positions at reception, housekeeping, F&B service, as well as in events, in Switzerland and Australia.
Melanie then moved towards F&B management and project management. She notably participated in the opening of the Atrium Airport Hotel for BOAS Swiss Hotels, in 2020 in Meyrin, as Assistant F&B Manager. Then, Melanie joined the Domaine de Monteret foundation, as project manager. Once her mission was completed, she worked at the Hilton Geneva & Conference Center, as F&B Supervisor. Melanie joined Sophos Hotel as a Financial Analyst in 2023, and focuses on assessing the financial performance of hotels in the DACH region.

After obtaining his federal maturity, Tuyen Amrouche decided to specialize in the field of accounting. She therefore began her career as a trustee and then worked in the world of golf, in accounting, for around 15 years. Tuyen joined Sophos Hotels in 2019 as an accountant.

In 2018, Sarah started her career as a commercial employee in the construction materials sector. After a few years' experience in the financial department of a municipal administration and an insurance company, she specialises in accounting and graduating as an accountant in 2023. She joined Sophos Hotels in 2023 as an accountant.

Raji Abou Ghanem has acquired extensive experience of more than 15 years in the hospitality sector, notably in Saudi Arabia and Lebanon. He has worked with leading brands such as Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) and Wyndham Hotel Group (WHG) and has gained extensive knowledge in sales and marketing, revenue management and business development. Additionally, he has held numerous positions such as general manager, operations director and development director. He also worked in a hotel management company in Saudi Arabia. He joins the Sophos Hotels team as operations director for Saudi Arabia.

In 2014, after obtaining her accounting diploma in Italy, Alessandra moved to Switzerland. She held various positions in early childhood education. In 2018, she decided to refocus her career on her initial field of study and specialized in accounting. In 2019, she obtains her practical accounting certificate in Vevey.
Over the years, Alessandra has gained solid experience in accounting and administrative management, working as an assistant accountant, accounting secretary, and junior accountant in several fiduciaries. In 2024, she joined Sophos Hotels as a junior accountant.
