The 4-stars Regina Hotel in Wengen is in the heart of Wengen. Its 76 rooms and suites have a magnificent view of the Jungfrau and are ideal for a rest and relaxation. In terms of F&B offer, the hotel has two restaurants offering different types of cuisine and atmosphere. The restaurant "Jack's Brasserie", with its 1900s atmosphere, offers traditional and international cuisine. The gastronomic restaurant "Chez Meyer's" proposes surprise menus in an elegant atmosphere. A Pop-up Bar is also open during the winter, and finally, "Mary's Café" serves traditional dining in a chalet-style setting.
In addition, the hotel offers a wellness area with a sauna and a steam room, as well as a treatment room with various massages. The Regina has also 2 banquet rooms, the “Grande Salle” of 290 sqm for up to 150 people, and the cosy “Chez Meyer's” lounge for up to 25 people. A third reception room, "Le Carousel", with a surface area of 240 sqm, can accommodate up to 80 people.
The authentic and car-free village of Wengen lies at an altitude of 1’274 metres and benefits from optimal sunshine and a magnificent panorama on many peaks of the Alps, including the Jungfrau. Wengen offers mountain activities in both summer and winter.
There are many hiking trails that offer a wonderful view on magnificent summits. For example, the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its Sphinx and its Ice Palace, the Schilthorn-Piz Gloria with its rotating panorama restaurant and its interactive exhibition about James Bond. But also, the Eiger, the Mönch, the Männlichen, the Schynige Platte or the Kleine Scheidegg. The Jungfrau region offers around 206 km of ski slopes, as well as several sledges runs, including the longest in the world of 15 km. The Trümmelbach waterfalls, one of the oldest glacier gorges in Europe, are also worth a visit. The region can be explored through a total of 160 km of various mountain bike routes. For thrill-seekers, the Grindelward-First offers a zip-line, a suspension bridge, and descents on mountain bikes.
